Equivalency Process
The UAE Equivalency process, now officially known as the Certificate of Recognition, is issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR).
The Certificate of Recognition confirms that an academic qualification obtained outside the UAE is recognised by the UAE Government and is comparable to the relevant UAE academic qualification.
As part of the process, the authority verifies the awarding university, the institution’s accreditation status, the mode of study, and the authenticity of the qualification before issuing the Certificate of Recognition.
